This final session of the Smart Week of IoT is all about Smart IoT. We will explore how to add your own EDGE Intelligence on 4G/5G or LAN Gateways.
EDGE TECHNOLOGy IS the future
Smart devices can process more and more information themselves and apply complex calculations to it. The data is therefore increasingly processed in the same place where it is collected. Namely at the device itself, at the edge of the network ("the edge"). Edge computing is the opposite of cloud computing where data from different devices is processed in one central place in the cloud.
In this session, we'll focus on the capabilities of EDGE Technology on 4G and 5G Gateways. We discuss the technology and the possibilities. We'll provide tips & tricks on how to best deploy it. And we show practical examples of how EDGE computing is successfully deployed on the mobile network.
This session is especially suitable for individuals and companies who want to get started with EDGE technology.
